WHAT IS A SLIDING SCALE MEMBERSHIP?
At G1 Climbing + Fitness our goal is to foster relationships and include everyone who is interested in bettering themselves through physical activity! We recognize that a barrier to the health and fitness world for some of our community is cost, and we don’t want that to be the reason you can’t climb.
G1 is now offering a sliding scale membership where we cover a portion of your monthly fees so that you can continue to send, stress free.
There are three different monthly payment options to choose from depending on your personal financial needs, all of which waive the $59 start up fee:

Who should apply for a Sliding Scale Membership?
- A person struggling to meet basic needs
- Individuals who qualify for government assistance
- Individuals who do not receive financial support from a partner, parent, family, or from investments
- A person who is not claimed as a dependent
- A person who has a disability that affects their ability to work
Important details about this membership:
1. You will need to reapply for the Sliding Scale Membership during month 11 (don’t worry, we will email you a reminder). If you fail to reapply, you will automatically get bumped to the regular Adult Individual EFT rate.
2. If you terminate, you will need to reapply for the Sliding Scale Membership should you ever reinstate your membership. There are no guarantees that you will qualify again as spaces are limited.
3. You can still freeze your membership for $11/month; however, those frozen months will still count towards your one year Sliding Scale Membership terms.
