Team G1

Team G1 provides youth with the coaching and support they need to grow as athletes and individuals, in order to attain success in competitive climbing and life. G1’s Competitive Youth Programs are designed specifically for competition through USA Climbing. Our teams practice and train for participation in USA Climbing’s Sport & Speed and Bouldering competitions.

G1 has three competitive teams, each aimed at specific competition age categories and experience levels.

ELITE TEAM –  Youth C to Junior categories (Ages 11 to 18)

• A strong interest in competition climbing and competitive climbing experience is required. 
• Athletes are expected to attempt to qualify and participate in USA Climbing’s Regional championship event each season. 
• Meets three times a week for 3-hour practices. 
• $349 per month, a gym membership with all membership benefits is included. 

VARSITY TEAM – Youth C to Junior categories (Ages 11 to 18)

• Previous climbing experience and an interest in competition climbing are required. 
• Athletes are expected to participate in at least one USA Climbing local competition per season. 
• Meets twice a week for 3-hour practices. 
• $289 per month, a gym membership with all membership benefits is included. 

JUNIOR VARSITY TEAM – Youth D to A categories (Ages 7 to 16) 

• Previous climbing experience and an interest in competition climbing are required. 
•  Athletes are expected to participate in at least one USA Climbing local competition per season. 
•  Meets twice a week for 2-hour practices. 
•  $239 per month, a gym membership with all membership benefits is included.
