Exclusive G1 programming created for women + genderqueer climbers alike to explore climbing technique, improve mental skills through fear management and self talk, and become more resilient through strength training. This space is taught in a trauma conscious, and progressive way and built for climbers of all levels. Women + genderqueer climbers 18+ years of age are welcome to join.
Femme Foundations was created by Professional Climber, Guide and Coach, Chelsea Rude, exclusively at G1 Climbing + Fitness. Chelsea’s passion lies with working with women + genderqueer climbers of all abilities, and teaching them the skills (technical, mental, and physical) to help them have a more enjoyable experience in this fabulous sport. Chelsea has been coaching climbing for 20 years, focusing most of her work towards serving the women and genderqueer climbing communities for the last decade. Within this time she started a local guiding platform, She Sends Collective, that offers outdoor educational clinics on a sliding scale, and hosts a Colorado local Climbing Festival. She approaches climbing, and her teaching, as an opportunity for self discovery and growth in mental, physical and emotional intelligence and confidence, but also a space for play, release, and exploration.

Femme Foundations Mind is a 4-week program created to teach climbers how to better manage fear and improve mindset as it relates to climbing. Fear can creep into our climbing in various degrees while we are climbing; we can experience fear of falling, of heights, of injury, of failure, etc. And the self-talk & mindset that we meet this fear with can make or break our overall experience climbing if untrained. Join us in developing a stronger foundation of fear management and mindset to help launch your climbing in 2024!
Chelsea teaches this program in a trauma conscious manner, and welcomes climbers of all abilities. Leading is encouraged, but not a requirement even though being Lead Certified at G1 is required to join the program.
