Beginners

Push your Grade Beginners is a great introduction to learn the fundamentals of climbing in a group setting! Climbing can feel intimidating when we are first starting and this course will help you have the confidence you’re building good habits and are on the right track. You’ll learn Jeff’s golden rule for climbing, proper footwork, breathing, and the difference between static and dynamic movement. Best of all we’ll be exploring and learning in a non-judgmental and fun atmosphere.

  • Differences between static and dynamic movement

$40 for a single 1.5 hour clinic *does not include entry

Fundamentals of Training

This course provides small group, in-depth coaching to help you grow technically, tactically, mentally, and physically. Open to climbers who are just starting and wanting to build good habits, or experienced climbers who want help getting to that next level and everything in between.

This is a great way to meet climbing partners and build a community of fellow psyched climbers interested in improving their skills.

Along with direct feedback, Jeff uses video analysis to help you deepen your understanding of movement, dynamics, and balance. All the material and concepts are designed to be transferable to bouldering, top rope, lead climbing, or trad climbing.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Confidence to push your grade
  • Warm up drills to improve technique
  • How to utilize the variety of training tools at G1 including: MoonBoard, Kilter Board, library of hangboards, & campus boards
  • Exercises to help with building your skills, capacity, endurance, and power
  • Greater understanding of how to approach individual moves, climbs, sessions, and training cycles when you feel stuck

Learn to Project

Sending your first climb at a new grade can often feel daunting and overwhelming.  In this class you will learn the technical, tactical, mental, and physical skills to tackle the next grade up.  Learn how to pick a good project, figure out and refine your beta, how to train for your climb, tactics for sending, and embracing the unknown.

This course provides small group, in-depth coaching to help you grow the skills you need to reach the next level. Open to climbers who are just starting and wanting to build good habits, or experienced climbers who want help pushing through a plateau.

This is a great way to meet climbing partners and build a community of fellow psyched climbers interested in improving their skills.

Along with direct feedback, Jeff uses video analysis to help you deepen your understanding of movement, dynamics, and balance. All the material and concepts are designed to be transferable to bouldering, top rope, lead climbing, or trad climbing.

Must be top rope belay certified at G1 prior to the class. Must have or rent a harness and belay device for class.

This course focused on rope climbing provides small group, in-depth coaching to help you grow technically, tactically, mentally, and physically. Open to climbers who are just starting and wanting to build good habits, or experienced climbers who want help getting to that next level and everything in between.

This is a great way to meet climbing partners and build a community of fellow psyched climbers interested in improving their skills.
